Day Out: The Selfie Factory London

I've been desperate to visit a Selfie Factory for so long so when one finally hit London I booked tickets straight away! The Selfie Factory is a huge room filled with small photography set ups to get that perfect Selfie, with so many different photo opportunities dotted around and a full hour to get your desired shots.

You're probably thinking its a weird place to take a Toddler but the only people there the same time as us were parents with young children! As well as being great photographic backdrops, the set ups were great fun for the kids too. Bowies favorite part was an absolutely gigantic pink ball pit.

My Favorite set up was the Bath of Balls, although Bowie wasn't too sure about that one! Daddy on the other hand enjoyed his Ball Bath!

Bowie was impressed by the Donut Corner! He loved picking the Donuts off the wall and pretending the eat them whilst sitting back and relaxing in the big inflatable Donut ring.

Aidan also got involved with the Donut corner of course.

The most fun Bowie had was with the other Kids we met in the Confetti Room just chasing each other throwing Confetti. They were having such a laugh together, it was like being at a fancy, aesthetically pleasing play date.

He also had a great time running in and out of the colorful streamers and hiding from us and the other kids in them.

The Pink Elephant was another great set up! Bowie loved sitting on him.

Another part Bowie had lots of fun in was the American Style Diner, pretending to have a Milkshake and a cheeky Phone Call.

Is it worth taking a Toddler? I would say so! With so many different set ups to explore Bowie had fun and was non stop for the entire hour, running back and forth, jumping into the ball pit, throwing confetti, playing catch and drawing with chalk. At the same time, whilst the kids are having a blast us adults get gorgeous photos we get to keep forever.

For an hour it cost us £9.99 for me and Aidan and £4.99 for Bowie, you can get your tickets here. Or if you're a pro and an hour is not enough you can get an unlimited pass for £19.99 and keep going back as many times as you want! I worried an hour wouldn't be long enough but it was more than enough, I had 600 photos and even put my camera away for the last 15 minutes and just had fun with Bowie.

We chose a Weekday to go because we thought it would be much quieter and less busy so we could take it slow, we booked the 2.40pm- 3:40pm and it was just us and two other families. When we finished there was not one person waiting for the 3:40pm- 4:40pm slot so that must have been empty! we went on a Wednesday afternoon.

The Selfie Factory is staying in Shepherds Bush Westfield until Thursday, September 12th.

Travel: Our Malta House Tour, Villa Phantasia

So back in April we took a Family Holiday to Malta. It was our first time visiting Malta and we didn't know if we wanted a Hotel or to rent out a House but in the end we decided to go for a Villa called Villa Phantasia with lots of space and lots of things to do. We went to the local supermarket, got loads of local food and drink and did our own cooking most night's so we could really get a feel for the place.

Our Villa was located in an extremely quiet residential neighborhood in the area of Ibrag which is a five minute drive away from Paceville. The Area was almost silent, at night I would sit out on the Balcony and look over the beautiful view and all I could hear was the breeze, we could have the windows open all day and night and the only sound you would ever here is the waterfall and the birds kept outside the front of the house.

The Villa is 5 stars and came with a Heated Pool, Kids Pool, Sauna Room, Hot Tub, Games Room and Gym, a Children's Park and a Crazy Golf Course as well as two Living Areas, a Kitchen, 4 Bedrooms and 6 Bathrooms. Everything you would need was provided such as Towels, Kitchen Equipment, Toilet Paper and all that Jazz. Even a Coffee Machine with Coffee Pods and the Owner, Richard went out and purchased us lots of brand new Shower Gel's and Bath bits.

The Pool area was absolutely stunning! The Pool was huge, with the shallow and deep ends sectioned off with a wall to make it safer for the Kids and a separate baby pool attached too for extra safety. There was plenty of places to sit, eat or lay surrounding the pool and we would often sit out there in the morning with our coffee looking out to the view which you could also see from the pool area. There was also a BBQ which we didn't get round to using.

Just past the Pool area and to the right was a Sauna Room and also a Crazy Golf Course, we didn't actually end up using either of these things but it was a nice touch!

To the Left of the Pool area down a few steps was a huge balcony kitted out with an entire Play Area just for Bowie to enjoy with incredible views over Malta. As you can imagine every single morning when we woke up we were dragged straight out here in our PJ's so Bowie could go on everything. I often sat and had Breakfast on the steps of this area watching him on the Swings and Slide.

The Views from the Villa were amazing and the photos just don't do them justice! From our Bedroom Balcony, the Garden and our Door Step we had these brilliant views over both Malta and the Sea. It was so therapeutic just sitting out on the Balcony alone with a cup of Coffee and these views.

The Villa was all on one level apart from the Gym/ Games Room. This was Downstairs and HUGE, it had Treadmills, Punching Bags and Exercise Bikes (which Bowie loved to have a little go on) as well as tonnes of games such as a Pinball Machine, Snooker Table, Pool Table, Table Tennis, Air Hockey, Table Soccer, Darts and other bits and pieces as well as Sofa's, Chairs and plenty of places to chill.

Another part Bowie loved was the Conservatory which housed the Hot Tub! He liked to sit on the edge and dip his toes out whilst looking out over the Pool.

The Inside was lovely too, very relaxed and lots of places to chill out. The Wifi wasn't amazing, it was perfect in the Bedrooms but didn't reach far past them and so whenever we needed to use the internet we would have to walk to the end of the Villa and jump in Bed! Not the end of the world though of course.

All in all, we had a great time and I can think of worse places to spend a week!
